It would be awesome if Over could save full high resolution images.1,195 votes
Great news! You can save your creations at full resolution on Over for iOS.
1) Simply make sure you’ve updated to Over 3.0 or newer.
2) When you’re ready to save your creation, tap the save/ share icon in the upper right.
3) Then tap ‘Save PNG’.
Choosing ‘Save Image’ also saves at full resolution, however there is some compression that takes place and you may want to stick with ‘Save PNG’.
Please organize your fonts in something other than an exhaustive list of every font and their associated styles. Why not a list with submenus for styles like bold, bold italic and underline, please, please, UNDERLINE! Thanks for a great app.24 votes
We’ve made this way better in Over 3.0, available in the App Store now. Font weights are now grouped together, and you can manage your fonts too:
1. Add text and press ‘Done.’
2. Make sure you’re on ‘Font’ in the focused editor.
3. Tap on the upward facing chevron on the left to bring up the font manager.
4. From here you can rearrange fonts, activate them, and deactivate them.
Add drop shadow with options for blur on shadow.267 votes
Activate the new ‘Drop Shadow’ tool for free, available in ‘Add-On’ in Over 3.0 in the App Store now. Add a shadow so your text and artwork pop out even more! Move it around, blur it, change its color and its opacity. Enjoy!
Pretty much a perfect app, my favorite text on photo app for sure, except I won't use it because of the low resolution output! Please enable high resolution saving!136 votes
Good news! The latest version of Over is capable of exporting high resolution photos unto 2048px. You can also import larger photos now too without crashing the app.
Looking forward to seeing what you all make!
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns here!
It would be nice to allow uploading of custom artwork (logos) for branding. I'd like to use the app at events and trade shows.704 votes
Please check out Over’s latest update in the App Store (iOS), 2.9.5. The +PNG Add On is available to unlock in ‘add’. We hope you love it. Enjoy!
Can you add ability to make a transparent png? That way we can create our own layered overlays with a clear background so that we can later them in other apps? And or add the ability to import a second photo layer and we can apply the overlay we made to multiple backgrounds. Ie: I may arrange layers of text and want to reuse the text part of the design on a mother background but I would have recreate the text on another project and it always seems to be different when it involves multiple layers. I feel like the ability to create a text graphic with no background would be super helpful!

Absolutely. :) Simply save your text/ artwork to a blank (that is, no photo) background. It will save as a .png.
When I use Over on iPad I sometimes want the text to be contained in the corner of the image. I can't do that since resizing would turn my phrase to one long line rather than a compact blurb. Ai would imagine a text box tool can fix this issue.27 votes
Enjoy this new feature, available in Over 3.0 in the App Store now. After you’ve added and edited your text, simply tap on the text layer to see a couple of outward facing arrows appear. Move these arrows in order to change the size of the bounding box. We hope you love it!

Add grid lines so we can know where our text is relative to the center or thirds etc.32 votes
You will find a grid in the latest version. Just try moving the text :)
Yup. I want this too! Great feedback here. :)
Overgram which is the free version of Over made by the same people already supports the new screen resolution, meanwhile the paid app does not.6 votes
Yee ha! It works on the iPhone 5 splendidly now.
What it says on the tin really - the app crashes whenever I press save, and it never saves in the process.8 votes
We’ve got a new release in the App Store now that fixes the crash affecting iPhone 4s devices. This resolution-related issue slipped through the cracks. We’re sorry about that, and appreciate your patience!
Also, to those affected by the crashes: if you find that everything is working well, would you mind updating your App Store reviews? We would really appreciate it. :)
I love the new update, but now the opacity level doesn't save after I save it to my photos11 votes
This was a bug. We’re sorry. But we fixed it. :) You should be all set!
Add a place where you can transfer fonts of your own, to the app.86 votes
You can now install your own fonts into Over. You can see instructions here http://over.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/209168-installing-your-own-fonts
Would be a time-saver if we had the ability to save a frame as a template that captures all the type/ suzes/styles/ positioning for use in future uses —eg. calender photo diary entries, I have to start from scratch for every new daily picture I add text/type to(!)207 votes
Please check out the +PNG add-on in ‘add’. You can:
1) add content to the blank, dot grid canvas (i.e., don’t select a photo)
2) SAVE what you made to save the content as a PNG
3) go to +PNG and reimport the template over a photo
Please please let us be able to use a transparent background so we can just export text/graphics etc.
Great app and it would make it perfect!48 votes
TRANSPARENT BACKGROUND! Just add your content to a blank canvas background, then choose to ‘Save PNG’. Available on Over for iOS. Enjoy!
Why doesn't the Login restore my purchases? I mean, it's not like it takes huge amounts of memory or the user will be bothered with his previous purchases & not to be reminded about it!27 votes
This should work for you! Simply tap on the ‘Store’ tab and scroll to the bottom for two ‘restore’ options.
Google images isn't working, just saying no results no matter what. And I don't think it's my device because I have this problem on both my devices.49 votes
Hopefully your Search Add-On is back up and running! Please update to the latest version of Over in the App Store to confirm, and please send a support ticket if you have any other trouble! Enjoy!
Ability to delete imported fonts.28 votes
Just swipe to delete your installed fonts. Enjoy!
It would be really useful to have access to Dropbox or any cloud storage system, to get pictures from there to utilize in the app.
Congrats on the app, and keep it coming !!!42 votes
Good news! Simply tap on ‘Background’ on our iOS version of Over, then tug down slightly for ‘More’, then tap ‘Locations’ and choose from Dropbox. Enjoy!
